Homework:

"Baggie Books" are books that should be at your child's just right reading level. They are a mix of books that I have chosen for them and books that they have shopped for themselves.  These books will go home every Monday and are due back no later than the following Monday so that we can exchange for new books. Please be sure to sign the reading log once for every book read. This will help me so that I don't send home repeats.

Poetry Folders will be sent home every Friday.  These poems have been read and practiced at school and are ususally thematic and reflect what we are learning in school.  Repeated readings of these poems will help your child build their sight word vocabulary and develop fluency in reading.  Please listen to your child read and sign the "Lucky Listener" sheet each week.  Poetry Folders should be returned every Friday so that our new poems can be added.
