Welcome to Spanish at AES!
The Spanish Language Program is offered to all students in Grades 3-6. Students, in each grade, receive thirty minutes of instruction twice per week. Instruction is formulated based on the World Readiness Standards, as outlined by ACTFL (The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages). Lessons include reading, writing, speaking and listening as requirements for best practices. Imbedded in the lessons, are the 5’Cs. The 5Cs iinclude Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons and Communities as outlined below in this document found on the ACTFL website: World-Readiness Standards pdf
