Celeste Willard

Chairperson of the Board of Education

Celeste Willard joined the Board of Education in June 2021. As a parent and co-President of the AES PTA, Celeste volunteers much of her time planning activities that benefit students, staff, and the community through fundraising and community outreach. A native of Ellington, and a graduate of the University of Hartford, Celeste resides in Andover with her husband and daughter. Celeste enjoys paddle boarding, gardening, and spending her time with family.

Eric Becker

Vice Chairperson of the Board of Education

Eric Becker moved to Andover in 2022 with his wife and two children.  A native of Wisconsin, he studied accounting at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry.  Eric enjoys spending time at the lake with his boys, reading, and undertaking projects around the house.

Caitlin McIntosh Greenhouse

Secretary of the Board of Education

Caitlin McIntosh Greenhouse is a practicing veterinarian and co-owner of a practice in Glastonbury, CT. Cait graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2009. She completed undergraduate studies at Connecticut College where she was captain of the equestrian team for two years. A native of New England, Cait returned to Connecticut and settled in Andover in 2015 after practicing in upstate New York for 6 years. When not working, Cait spends most of her time with her husband Mike, their sons Elijah & Wynston, and their animals. They have a small farm with chickens, goats, sheep, bees, horses, a dog and two cats. She enjoys ice hockey and riding her Icelandic horse Valur.

Gerard (Gerry) Cremé

Member of the Board of Education

Gerard (Gerry) Cremé is currently the Board of Education Chairman. Gerry has been an integral member of the BOE since November of 2016, having also previously served in the capacity of Vice Chairman. A two-decade resident of Wood Fern Way with his wife Anne and daughter Catherine, Gerry has also served the Andover community as an AHM Youth and Family Services Lantern Mentor volunteer and an AES volunteer. Gerry brings his educational expertise as a former elementary teacher for 18 years in the South Windsor school system where he taught grades four and five at Pleasant Valley Elementary until his retirement in 2014. He also shares his fiscal expertise and wisdom as a former business owner of a small flower shop in West Hartford the 18 years prior to his career as an educator.

Shannon O. Louden

Member of the Board of Education

Shannon O. Louden has been a member of the Andover Board of Education since 2015, serving as its Chairwoman until April 2021 and continuing to serve as the liaison to the Capital Improvement Planning Committee. Having graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in Political Science and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Shannon has been a lawyer since 1993 and specializes in family law and divorce mediation. She is the Vice Chair of the Andover Democratic Town Committee and has a special interest in political campaign work, having volunteered on many presidential and local campaigns. Shannon's background and expertise are utilized in many ways on the BOE, especially as liaison on policy matters to the Superintendent.

Mike Beckwith

Member of the Board of Education

Mike Beckwith has been a member of the Andover Board of Education since 2022. He has served as a Mathematics teacher in both the Florida and Connecticut public schools since obtaining his M.Ed from the University of Florida in 2013. Previous to his teaching career, he worked as a tax/audit accountant for Deloitte based in Boston, MA. A native of Connecticut, Mike resides in Andover with his wife and two kids, and can often be found running/cycling/hiking throughout Connecticut.

Brianne Lanzieri

Member of the Board of Education

Elected to the Board of Education in November 2023, Brianne Lanzieri brings a wealth of education and experience to her role. Holding a BA in liberal arts from the University of Illinois, she pursued graduate courses in Secondary Education at Drexel University, earned an MBA from Western New England University, and obtained an MS in Public Service Leadership from Capella University. Currently working towards a PhD in International Business, she is dedicated lifelong learner. As a Senior Program Manager in the Aerospace industry, she demonstrates strong leadership. Outside of work, Brianne enjoys spending time with family, swimming, and reading. Actively involved in the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), she is committed to supporting the safety and development of teachers and students and looks forward to fostering community engagement on the Board of Education.
